Maddie decided on an unconventional boutique to buy her first Halloween costume - "Build-A-Bear Workshop". It turns out there's not a great selection of costumes for 4 pound babies, so this teddy bear getup worked out nicely. Cute? definitely; but not very warm, so she only spent about 5 minutes as a fairy and then returned to her normal casual wear for the rest of the evening.
She ate and slept well this afternoon, but was still upset from time to time. I'm guessing it's was because Baylor got beat by Nebraska. I told her that she should try to adjust her expectations of the Bears for the next few decades, but she was too worked up to even listen.
Maddie did great today with her eating and sleeping. She's doing wonderfully and we had the best Saturday ever.
She is just precious and a true fairy princess.

How creative. Must of been mom's idea. She is absolutely precious. I love it that you are keeping us all up to dtae on Maddie. She is a very lucky young lady to have such special parents. We are all anxious to meet her persoanlly, but this blog page will have to do and we all feel very lucky to have it.
