Maddie had a good weekend and is doing well. It felt odd, but encouraging not to see any doctors last week! Obviously our little weight ticker hasn't changed in a while. We don't have a baby scale because we'd both be obsessing over it, so we're waiting until our doctor appointment next week to get an update. She's eating well so we're hoping for something around 7.5 lbs.
Mom and Dad are getting a little sleep here and there and gaining a little confidence in our abilities. With Christmas around the corner, Ash has begun sewing Maddie's stocking. It looks like we'll be celebrating with just the three of us, so we're hoping to make it as festive as we can (taking into account our limited energy).
Also... special thanks to Jason and Christine for the great suggestion of stuffing your child in a laundry basket for easy transport. It works like a charm!
That baby basket is too funny guys! She is a little doll! You two are such loving and kind people, I think Maddie is supremely blessed to have you both and I know you will all three do great.
