Is it Summer Yet?!

With the temperatures in Austin already into the 80's, it looks like swimming season could be here sooner than expected.  As such, Maddie's ready to shed the water-wings this year and swim with the big kids.

Maddie had her first swim lesson at Emler Swim School this Wednesday.  We weren't quite sure how she would feel about swimming lessons, but she made us proud!  She followed her teacher Kelsey into the water like a faithful Labrador, floated by herself in an inter-tube, dunked her head, blew bubbles, and began learning how to float on her back and crawl out of the pool by herself.
