Ashley is finally beginning to get some rest. She slept really well last night and is dozing on and off this morning. We got some really positive lab results this morning that don't imply any urgency. They started another 24 hour test, which means Ash can't eat for the next 24 hours. They'll look at the results in the morning and make another decision about whether to deliver or wait a few days. Ashley has had two steroid shots to help strengthen Maddie's lungs. We're told that having both shots is a huge advantage in premature births.
We're really hoping to make it several more days if possible. I think the idea of more bed rest less than exciting for Ashley, but she knows that every day we can postpone delivery is a huge benefit to Maddie.
She didn't feel like eating much this morning, so I have deduced...
bacon wrapped in hospital pancakes = delicious
Thanks to Bob and Karen and my folks for all your support. I don't know how you guys do it, but you're tremendously comforting to Ashley and I.
