Maddie's Doing Well

We don't have a lot to report, but wanted to keep the news coming, so here's the latest...

Maddie is continuing to grow and passed her seventh week in the NICU yesterday. She gained another ounce last night for a grand total of 4lbs, 5oz. She's starting to show more alertness and energy when we see her, especially around feeding time. More and more she's getting her nutrition from the bottle instead of the feeding tube. We're really hopeful that we can transition to bottle feedings & nursing exclusively in the next few weeks.

The docs are still pretty tight lipped about a discharge date, but we know that we're closer every day. Thanks for your thoughts, prayers and support!
