Maddie has been making great strides this week. She has officially graduated to a "big girl" bed.She was moved from the isolet on Sunday, and has maintained her body temperature very well in the open air of the NICU, which can be pretty chilly.
She also hit the 4 pound miilestone today, which is worth celebrating. Perhaps the most encouraging development though was that she took an entire bottle on her own this morning and even breast fed for 10 minutes this morning!
She had another tummy x-ray this morning to make sure everything is okay. She's still a bit distended, and the staff assures us that they're just being extra cautious, but we could use some prayers on that front.
You can tell by this picture that she's really taking advantage of her new space, feeling it out and getting her bearings :)
Congrats! 4 lbs! and a Bold sense of fashion! Looks good with a figure like yours ,sweet Maddie.
